First published 24 April 2020. Expanded in October 2026 so a private payment is not described as Monero, and so an app is not described as the coin. Beldex is its own chain. Payments are private by default. That is the design, not a switch this page will teach you to use. What is Monero (XMR)? is a different chain in the same family. A Beldex address will not receive Monero, and a Monero address will not receive BDX.

The project describes a supply on the order of 9.9 billion BDX. It began as proof of work and later moved to proof of stake. New coins are still a block reward. A dashboard figure is not a second cap. The project’s pages publish a collateral to run a masternode and a lock of about 30 days. A lock is not a savings account. Staking is a lock and a queue, not a savings account. This page will not walk through a node.

The project also ships apps, including a messenger. An app is not the coin. Using one does not move BDX unless you choose to pay with it. Nothing here is an instruction to hide a payment, to run a masternode, or to buy BDX.
