First published 10 April 2020. Expanded in October 2026 so a fee discount is not described as interest, and so a burned supply is not described as the opening figure. MX is an Ethereum token of the exchange now called MEXC, and earlier called MXC. The exchange dates the issue to 30 June 2018. It said the opening supply was 1 billion. Later notes describe buybacks and burns. This page will not pick a live count. What is BNB? is a different exchange’s token. MX is not a share of MEXC, and it is not BNB.

The exchange said holding MX could cut trading fees, and that holders could vote on listings. A discount is a company rule. It can change, and it is not interest. A balance on the exchange is the company’s ledger. An exchange balance is an IOU, not a wallet. The token in a wallet you control is not that balance.

ETH pays the fee to move MX. A copy on another chain is a different send. The wrong network is still the wrong city. Nothing here is an instruction to stake the token for a fee cut, or to buy MX.
