First published 16 March 2022, the day after a listing opened trading. Expanded in October 2026 so a company product is not described as the token, and so two supply figures are not blended into one. XCN is an Ethereum token. Adam Ludwin is the person most associated with Chain, the company. A listing note dated trading to 15 March 2022 and called the supply about 68.9 billion. The token is not a share of that company.
In January 2023 a vote renamed the token Onyxcoin. The ticker stayed XCN, and the project said the contract did not change. The same note said 5 billion from a team allocation would be burned and 15 billion would move toward a non-profit. This page will not pick a live count. A price times the 2022 figure is not a fact about what can move today. Paying XCN for a company product is a company rule. Holding the token does not by itself buy that product.
ETH pays the fee. A later chain that also uses the name is a different send. The wrong network is still the wrong city. Nothing here is an instruction to vote, to bridge, or to buy XCN.
