First published 1 March 2020. The token had been created at the end of February. Expanded in October 2026 so the token is not described as the wallet, and so the burned mint is not described as still existing. Trust Wallet is a phone app that holds keys for many chains. Viktor Radchenko founded it. Binance later bought the company. TWT is a token of that app. It is not a share of Binance, and it is not BNB. What is BNB? is the fee on the chain this token uses. An exchange balance is an IOU, not a wallet. Holding TWT does not make the app your keys.
The project says the launch was an airdrop, with no fundraise. The mint was 90 billion, first as a BEP-2 token on the older Binance chain. On 3 October 2020 it burned 88,999,999,900 of them and said what remained, on the order of 1 billion, cannot be increased. A burn is gone. It is not a dividend. The token people trade is the BEP-20 on BNB Smart Chain. A BEP-2 balance that was never moved is not that token. A site that says it can still finish the move, and asks for a recovery phrase, is not the 2020 window. A wallet signature is not a handshake.
The app’s own page describes discounts on swaps and on fiat purchases, and community polls as one address, one vote. An app can change a discount. A poll inside the app is not a rule of BNB Chain, and it is not a claim on the coins the wallet is showing you. Locking TWT for a promotional reward is a campaign. Staking is a lock and a queue, not a savings account.
Match the token the project’s own page names, on BNB Chain. The same ticker on another chain is a different contract. The wrong network is still the wrong city. Nothing here is an instruction to lock TWT, to import a phrase, or to buy it.
