First published 6 March 2020, the day after the public sale. Expanded in October 2026 so a fee discount is not described as interest, and so two supply figures are not blended into one. BTSE is the token of the exchange of the same name. The public sale was on 5 March 2020: one million tokens at 2 dollars each. The issuing network named in that sale was Liquid, a Bitcoin sidechain. What is BNB? is a different exchange’s token. BTSE is not a share of the company, and it is not BNB.
The documents from that month do not agree on the ceiling. A February sale note says up to 100 million. A page from the exchange later says 200 million, with 5 million tradeable in the first months. An Ethereum copy also exists, and a token page there has shown yet another maximum. This page will not pick a live count. A ceiling in a PDF is that PDF. A price times any of those numbers is not a fact about what can move today.
The exchange said holding the token could cut trading fees. A discount is a company rule. It can change, and it is not interest. A balance on the exchange is the company’s ledger. An exchange balance is an IOU, not a wallet. Liquid BTSE is not the Ethereum copy. The wrong network is still the wrong city. Nothing here is an instruction to stake the token for a fee cut, or to buy BTSE.
