What is SwissBorg (BORG)?

An app token. The ticker became BORG on 17 October 2023. It replaced CHSB one for one. It is not a share.

First published 18 October 2023, the day after the ticker change began. Expanded in October 2026 so a fee discount is not described as interest, and so the new ticker is not described as a second coin. BORG is an Ethereum token. Cyrus Fazel and Antoine Lesoismier are the people most associated with SwissBorg. The contribution period ran from 7 December 2017, and the project said the hard cap of 50 million Swiss francs was reached on 9 January 2018. The sale terms set the supply at 1 billion and said no more would be created. Burns can remove some. A dashboard figure is not that 2018 sentence.

On 17 October 2023 the company started changing the ticker from CHSB to BORG, one for one. The long name stayed SwissBorg. CHSB in an old wallet is the previous token. It is not automatically the new one until it is migrated. This page will not walk through that migration. A balance inside the SwissBorg app is the company’s ledger. An exchange balance is an IOU, not a wallet. The same is true of an app. A premium membership and a fee discount are company rules. They are not interest, and they are not a share of SwissBorg. What is BNB? is a different company’s token.

ETH pays the fee to move the token. A copy on Solana is a different send. The wrong network is still the wrong city. Nothing here is an instruction to migrate, to lock tokens for a membership, or to buy BORG.
