Address

A public identifier that can receive coins on a specific network.

An address is where coins can be sent. It is not a username, and it is not interchangeable across networks. Bitcoin addresses and Ethereum addresses do not look alike, but two tokens with the same ticker on different chains can look confusingly similar in a wallet.

Always check the network badge as well as the characters. Sending on the wrong ledger is like posting a letter to the right house number in the wrong city.
