Network
The specific ledger a balance lives on. The ticker in the wallet is only a display name.
USDT on Ethereum and USDT on another chain can share a nickname and still be different objects. The send screen’s network dropdown looks like a preference. It is a cliff.
Some ledgers also need a memo or destination tag so a company knows which customer to credit. Omit it and coins can sit in a lobby. Fill it from the official deposit screen, not from a chat.
