Hardware wallet

A small device that holds keys and asks you to confirm sends on its own screen.

A hardware wallet is a practice wrapped in a gadget. The laptop proposes. The device shows the destination and amount. You confirm with your eyes open. If you confirm with your eyes closed, you have bought a brick that still does whatever the infected computer asked.

The company that sold the box is still a company: shops, shipping, support inboxes. Those leak. Nobody at support needs your 24 words.
